The costume was very cheap for the price we paid, $40 some odd dollars! My 7 year old son wore it to school for their Halloween party and within 2 hours of wearing it the chest piece was already broken and he wasn’t doing anything besides sitting at his desk!! The straps on the arm band weren’t adjustable and therefore that piece didn’t fit my son and he was unable to wear it! I will NEVER purchase this brand of product again, and I don’t know that I will purchase from Amazon again, I am so unhappy with the product!!!
Sizing was fine except the length was 6″ too long–just tacked up for safety. Material was the gross panty-hose feeling stuff. And so when the serged stitching around the collar started to unravel, there was no way for me to repair it. My son wore the costume for MAYBE 2 hours. Maybe the plastic chest and shoulder pieces snagged a stitch around the collar? Very expensive and extremely low quality. Heartbreaking because the children LOVE costumes and characters so you invest in what they want but the companies making it use the cheapest materials possible and it is unnecessary. Cotton cannot be that more expensive–or the Scooby Doo and Teletubby fleece materials. Those last forever!!!
Our grandson is into superheroes, and he loved this. He and his suit were the hit of the family Christmas party. I rated it a 5 overall because it is fun, and that’s the whole point.
